Drew Barrymore‘s 43rd birthday on Thursday night was the perfect chance for a #TBT – though rather than posting a throwback shot on the sociable press, the Charlie’s Angels celebrity experienced it printed on her behalf cake.
At the special event for her wedding day, Barrymore blew the candles from a particular sheet wedding cake decorated with a picture of her 6-year-old personal, taken through the advertising of her breakout film E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial.
The cake, observed in a go Barrymore later shared to Instagram, included the message “Happy Birthday Drew” onto it.
It had been the perfect callback for Barrymore, who informed her fans that she doesn’t dread aging.
“I’m so pleased to grow older because growing older is way better!” she said in a video published after her party. “It’s a stripe that you earn. It’s wonderful and delicious. Never fight age group. It’s a dropping battle. Embrace getting better just. ”

Guests at Barrymore’s special birthday included relatives and buddies like Jill Kargman, Ivy Kargman, and Nancy Fallon.
“Most perfect birthday,” Barrymore wrote on Instagram, getting in touch with her pals her “trusted pack” – “wolves who consider each other and value things apart from themselves.”
“Many thanks to all or any of the individuals who have been wishing me well-wishes on my birthday,” she said in her video. “I’m 43. I’m so thrilled. I feel such as this is likely to be an amazing 12 months.”
The Never Been Kissed alum also reflected on the student survivors of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Parkland, Florida, who’ve got together in the wake of the month’s deadly shooting to make emotional pleas in the media for gun law reform and change.
“I’m so inspired, particularly by the youngsters in Florida and the wish of this era and the open fire of change you are exuding. I am so wildly impressed that I’m humbled and supportive of techniques that we now have no words,” she said, referencing daughters Olive, 5, and Frankie, 3½. “You give me to expect my daughters and another is shiny and brave.”
She added in her caption: “I am excited for everybody who has Purpose and fire right now. The youngsters who make me assured for my daughters. And everything real and altruistic. This is actually the yr of your dog battle. Do all you can this season for true change.”
